The rotating machine mechanic is a key player in the proper functioning of equipment. Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance operations, he/she does everything possible to prevent slowdowns, malfunctions and breakdowns.
Its universe is made up of pumps, turbines, compressors and all the machines that are not linked to instrumentation or regulation.
- He discusses with the client to find out the main functionalities and possible risks.
- He must also know how to read a plan and progress step by step in dismantling.
- It cleans, repairs and replaces defective parts
- He reassembles the machine
Required skills and knowledge
Mechanics, welding and metallurgy. Rigor and sense of organization, responsiveness and curiosity, taste for teamwork and in the field, availability and good physical resistance, respect for environmental rules, safety and security rules; this job is likely to involve on-call or shift work (3x8h, 2x8h).
English recommended.
